ConstipationInadequate information campaign has also caused many people to see on the plate of vegetables a source of calories unattractive to hold the line. Fortunately, today many scholars are now insisting on the need to include this group of foods in the diet, even those that are slimmer.

As we say, then, Life sendentaria and poor nutrition in fruits and vegetables may be the trigger of a process of constipation, but even less common, there are also other causes such as the prolonged use of laxatives, symptoms of depression , neurological or endocrine disorders, intestinal blockage due to narrowing, tumor, or imprisonment produced by some organ or tissue mass, bowel irritation or intake of some medicines, among which include some analgesics (narcotics, anticonvulsants, antidepressants, anticholinergics and antacids that contain a compound of calcium and aluminum).

SOLUTIONS

The simple solution to constipation-ie, one that is not due to intestinal diseases of tumors or diverticula-passes obligatorily by changing our usual diet enriched with a sufficient intake of fiber.

This means that on our menu must-haves or fresh fruit-the best for this are the plums, kiwis and apricots, and vegetables. Nor should we forget the unrefined grains such as bread and rice grains. And, of course, following the wise example of our ancestors, many legumes.

Constipation Causes and Solutions (Part 1)

ConstipationIf you get used to taking laxatives ended up becoming addicted to them. Meaningless when the problem of constipation is possible without resorting to such drugs: just take a diet rich in fiber and implement some practical tips to help make your life easier.

Constipation is a common intestinal disorder that is drastically affecting many people, and that almost everyone is touched suffer at some point in their lives. It is estimated that more than half of men and nearly 80% of women suffer from this type of dysfunction.

The immediate solution is often resorting to laxatives, but not always the right thing and often just slightly modify our diet to end the problem.

The symptoms of constipation are known and basically agree with a decrease in the frequency of defecation or difficulty in passing stools.

However, people should keep in mind that it is necessary to evacuate daily for good health. Each person has their own pattern and can be considered normal digestive cualqier frequencies ranging between three and twelve times a day a week.

Hygienic-Dietary to Prevention and Control Chronic Constipation

Chronic ConstipationTo understand the pathophysiology of constipation and can implement a rational treatment, we must first understand the normal process of digestion of food, how they form the stool and what are the factors that regulate their expulsion.

What is Digestion?

Digestion is defined as a set of mechanical processes (chewing, mixing of food and intestinal motility or peristalsis), chemical (enzymatic hydrolysis) and physical (emulsification of fats by bile salts), by which substances are extracted nutritious food and degrade to smaller particles, can be absorbed easily.

At the mouth, ingested food is crushed and mixed with saliva, then passed to the stomach, where it acquired a consistency softer by the joint action of mechanical contractions of the body and gastric juice. In the stomach, proteins are extracted from food and undergo partial hydrolysis.
