Constipation Causes and Solutions (Part 1)

Constipation is a common intestinal disorder that is drastically affecting many people, and that almost everyone is touched suffer at some point in their lives. It is estimated that more than half of men and nearly 80% of women suffer from this type of dysfunction.

The immediate solution is often resorting to laxatives, but not always the right thing and often just slightly modify our diet to end the problem.

The symptoms of constipation are known and basically agree with a decrease in the frequency of defecation or difficulty in passing stools.

However, people should keep in mind that it is necessary to evacuate daily for good health. Each person has their own pattern and can be considered normal digestive cualqier frequencies ranging between three and twelve times a day a week.

It is when the frequency decreases markedly when there is pain or if the stool is very hard when you can talk about constipation or constipation. And while this “lazy bowel” immediately generates no serious health problems, its extension over time can contribute to the development of cancer, diverticular disorders and degenerative diseases of the bowel and even the entire body.

Lifestyle

Living habits directly affect this problem and are often the trigger of constipation. Our ancestors had learned the lesson well and between customs were eating the vegetables in large numbers as well as the squat when they went to the bathroom.

This behavior allowed them to encourage their intestinal transit thus avoiding problems of regularity. Today, however, have not only changed the structure of the toilets but we have also significantly reduced the consumption of leguminous plants.
